This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional educational leader who is passionate about ensuring that every learner, regardless of background or need, has access to outstanding educational experiences and the support required to achieve their full potential. This is a full-time leadership role (37 hours per week) working across our campuses and reporting directly to the Vice Principal - Inclusion and Support.
You will bring extensive leadership and management experience within Further Education, alongside a strong understanding of SEND reform, inclusive education, high-needs provision, quality improvement and curriculum development. You will be an innovative leader who is committed to developing outstanding learning environments, championing inclusive practice and driving excellence across all areas of provision.
The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership for Inclusive Practice across Buckinghamshire College Group, ensuring that learners achieve exceptional outcomes, progression and destinations. You will lead high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement and ensure statutory compliance, quality assurance and outstanding learner experiences across the College's inclusive and alternative provision.
As Faculty Director - Inclusive Practice you will:
- Lead and develop Inclusive Practice across the College, ensuring outstanding provision, learner outcomes and compliance.
- Manage SEND, EHCP, high-needs and vulnerable learner provision, championing inclusive and adaptive teaching practices.
- Drive student success through effective leadership of Curriculum Managers and support teams.
- Oversee alternative, subcontracted and partnership provision, ensuring quality, safeguarding and regulatory standards are met.
- Lead EHCP processes, funding applications, annual reviews and learner placements.
- Use quality assurance, learner feedback and performance data to drive excellence across provision.
- Build strong partnerships with employers, stakeholders and external agencies to meet learner and community needs.
