As a Curriculum Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every learner receives high-quality teaching, effective support and an engaging learning experience that enables them to succeed.
You will lead a team of talented teachers and coaches, driving continuous improvement in teaching, learning and assessment while creating an aspirational culture where staff and students can thrive.

As a Curriculum Manager - English, you will:
- Lead and inspire a team of English teachers and coaches to deliver exceptional outcomes for learners.
- Drive high standards of teaching, learning and assessment across the English curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies that support achievement, progression and success.
- Lead quality assurance activities, self-assessment processes and quality improvement planning.
- Work collaboratively with teaching teams and senior leaders to shape and develop an innovative English curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged and motivated.
- Manage staffing, budgets and resources effectively to maximise impact and value.
- Build strong relationships with employers, stakeholders and partners to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and responsive.
- Champion student voice and use feedback to enhance the learner experience.
- Support and develop colleagues through coaching, mentoring, performance management and professional development.

- Has a strong background in teaching and learning within Further Education or a related educational setting.
- Has experience leading, motivating and developing teams.
- Understands how to use data, quality processes and performance measures to improve outcomes.
- Is committed to raising standards and driving continuous improvement.
- Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Is passionate about helping young people and adults achieve their ambitions.
- Can think strategically whilst maintaining a focus on operational excellence.
