The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.

A family in the HU7 area is looking for a team of Personal Assistants to support a 27-year-old male. He was involved in a motorcycle accident 8 months ago and now wants to return home to continue his rehabilitation.

There are a total of 70 hours per week available with various shifts and hours. Please apply and let us know which shifts you are interested in:

  • 2.5 hours in the morning for 1 carer to include PEG feeds, normal feeds, catheter care, toileting/incontinence cares, medication, and personal cares.
  • 1.5 hours for lunch for 1 carer to support meals and PEG feeds, catheter care, toileting/incontinence cares, and medication.
  • 1.5 hours for tea for 1 carer to support meals and PEG feeds, catheter care, toileting/incontinence cares, and medication.
  • 1.5 hours for an evening call for 1 carer to support with bed, dressing, toileting, catheter care, medication, and dressing.
  • 3 hours a day for socialising, community/family activities, and appointments.

He wants a team of PAs who can support his continued rehabilitation. He has made great progress in the hospital and now wants to continue his rehab in his home environment surrounded by his family. The PAs will need to be patient and encourage his progress around Speech and Language, Mobility, and Reading; his goal is to get back to being an active family man. The PAs will be working in his home alongside his family.

Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer.

Hours: Varies hours and shifts
