A Personal Assistant is required by a gentleman in the HU5 area of Hull. He needs someone to help him get out of the house to take part in social activities such as ten pin bowling, to the pub to play darts and pool, and to the football.
When at home, his main interests are his Xbox and watching television, particularly wrestling. He wants someone to help him get out as he likes going to Hull City football matches and enjoys playing pool and darts; someone with similar interests would be ideal.
He is very friendly and placid. He is not streetwise and needs someone who can supervise him and keep him safe. He has learning disabilities and always needs someone with him outside the home as he has very limited awareness of danger. He is able to meet his personal care needs but sometimes needs reminding to ensure he is clean and tidy.
Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority.
