Personal Assistant to support a young woman to access the community. The direct payment is for 51 hours per week, so will require various PAs to cover the hours in the HU9 area.
A PA is needed to support a young woman in the HU9 area. The role will require support with:
- Transfers from bed to wheelchair to chair
- Personal care and dressing ready for the day
- Toileting
- Nutritional and drink preparation
- Putting on and taking off callipers
- Making a packed lunch in the morning
- Escorting the young girl to school and picking her up at the end of the school day
- Social time to access the community
- Some domestic tasks
The PAs will need to be flexible as this role will include evenings and weekends; hours can be discussed at interview. The ideal PA will be trustworthy, honest, caring, reliable, and able to build strong relationships based on equality and respect. They will also promote independent living and be positive, confident, and very supportive.
