We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated Mobile Auto Electrician to join our team.
This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle electrical systems across a range of vehicles at customer locations.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently in the field and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles, including wiring, lighting, starters, alternators, sensors, and electronic control systems.
- Install, maintain, and fault-find vehicle electrical systems and aftermarket accessories.
- Carry out electrical system testing using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and vehicle schematics.
- Provide efficient, professional service at customer premises or designated work sites.
- Accurately complete job records and documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and relevant regulations.
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining faults, repairs, and recommendations where required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as an Auto Electrician (essential).
- Relevant qualifications, certifications, or technical training in automotive electrical systems.
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Excellent fault-finding skills with strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and comfortable working in varied environments.

- Experience using diagnostic tools such as OBD scanners.
- Good knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and emerging automotive technologies.
