Audit Manager to join their growing and highly respected team.

The Role
As Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, and supporting the development of junior team members.
You will work closely with senior leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of sectors.
- Lead and oversee audit assignments from planning to completion.
- Review audit files, financial statements and working papers to ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, developing strong and lasting relationships.
- Manage engagement budgets, timelines and resource allocation.
- Supervise, mentor and develop Audit Seniors, trainees and junior staff.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value‑added services to clients.
- Support Partners and Directors in business development and practice growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Significant external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.
- Previous experience managing audit engagements and client relationships.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Commercially aware with a proactive and client‑focused approach.
