- 1. Provide tailored tutoring or learning sessions that meet the individual needs, abilities, and goals of learners, ensuring activities are accessible and meaningful.
- 2. To prepare and deliver high quality and well-structure art sessions, including all planning and evaluation processes such as Schemes of Work.
- 3. Support learners to develop practical everyday skills such as communication and social skills.
- 4. Modify resources, communication methods, and teaching strategies to suit a wide range of physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
- 5. Encourage active engagement in learning sessions and community-based activities, promoting equality, dignity, and respect at all times.
- 6. Liaising with support staff, carers s to ensure consistent and holistic support for each learner.
- 7. Maintain accurate records of learner progress, achievements, and support needs, contributing to individual learning plans and reviews.
- 8. Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to always ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable adults, reporting concerns appropriately.
- 9. Use supportive and respectful approaches to manage challenging behaviour, focusing on de-escalation and understanding underlying needs.
- 10. Motivate learners to set and work towards achievable goals, celebrating progress and achievements to build confidence and independence.
