An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medical Photography Departmentat North Bristol NHSTrust.

Would you like to start, or develop, your career in medical photography in a dynamic, supportive team based inthestate-of-the-artmedical photographyfacility in the Brunel Building?

We are seeking acompassionate, motivated individual with a foundation degree in photography or HND/ NVQ level 4in photography, or equivalent relevantprofessionalexperience.

The Medical Photography department providescriticalsupport to excellent care across the Trust and you will be delivering a high-quality service including medical photography (studio/ward/clinic) and ophthalmic photography.

Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonal skills, and a thorough understanding of image management / digital technology is essential.

You will support the departmentusingyour photography and image management skills to enable clinical decision making and care.

You will work with the medical photographersto deliver the service with high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

You will be able todemonstratean ability to work independently, and with the team, to agreed timelines.

North Bristol NHS Trust is a large regional centre of excellence and dedicated to the development of all ourstaff; as such the successful candidate will be expected to developwhile in post.

  • ndertake medical photography under the direction of the medical photographers andin accordance withlocal practice/policies.
  • To support the Medical Photography and Illustration department, with responsibility for image management within the Medical Image Management System (MIMS) and Job Management System (JMS) databases.
  • To deliver a service in line with the departmental and Trust guidelines, abiding by all consent, confidentiality, and legal guidelines.
  • To provide a photographicsupport servicefor non-clinical activities undertaken by the Trust following national and local standards.
  • To support the multi-skilling work within the department to ensure an efficient service is delivered in line with departmental service level agreements.
