We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive accident repair network with multiple sites across the UK, for the position of Assistant Bodyshop Manager at their facility in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional seeking to advance their career within a well-established industry leader.

The Assistant Bodyshop Manager role offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, dependent on experience, complemented by £4,800+ in performance-related bonuses paid monthly.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional Saturday mornings based on business needs.

Duties of the Assistant Bodyshop Manager

  • Manage daily productivity of the bodyshop ensuring efficient workflow
  • Liaise closely with the Centre Manager and team to optimise processes
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand vehicle repair requirements
  • Monitor workshop performance to meet key performance indicators
  • Plan and assign work utilizing team members' skills
  • Identify training needs and support team development
  • Oversee vehicle progress liaising between workshop and reception
  • Maintain workshop standards in accordance with HSO and industry standards
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to health and safety regulations

Requirements of the Assistant Bodyshop Manager

  • Proven experience managing or assisting in an automotive accident repair workshop
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Focus on quality, reliability, and customer service
  • IT literacy with the ability to adapt to new systems
  • UK Driving Licence with minimal points
  • Reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Bristol
