The predicted salary is between 25563 - 31243 £ per year.
This role is based in the UK and will be working on site in our UK based College.
In order to comply with our mandatory pre-employment checks, the successful candidate will be required to provide original identification documents in person to our UK based People Services Team.
This role is pro rata, so the salary you will be receiving is £13,577.53 - £14,223.23 per annum.
This role will involve travel to other sites but it will also give the opportunity for Hybrid.

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position as you will be working within 'Regulated Activity' within a specific place (i. e. the College).
This role is classed as working within Regulated Activity.

BACKGROUND TO THE POST

The post holder will be a member of the Health, Wellbeing, Hospitality & Lifestyle School and report directly to the Head of School.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assess Early Years T Level Students in work placement against exam board criteria focussed on occupational competency.
- To be able to guide and support students to complete their qualification successfully.
- To be able to mentor individual candidates and monitor their academic and vocational progress, by carrying out formal progress reviews with individuals and their employers.
- To be able to carry out formal assessments and moderations; support the learners with generating evidence and completing all necessary portfolio paperwork, including referencing of evidence and presenting portfolio for internal and external verification.
- To be responsible for checking the completion of the occupational competencies; to include liaison with tutors on the delivery and completion of the students’ course.
- To ensure all students are aware of the Health & Safety Guidelines.
- To ensure student tracking is kept up to date and accurate and work with the course manager and academic staff.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
- To attend college delivered ‘Teaching Essentials’ training
In order to support during busy exam periods, you may be asked to undertake exam invigilator duties. The College will provide training.

ESSENTIAL ATTAINMENTS
- A minimum of a level 3 qualification in an Early Years or Education.
- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or Level 2 equivalent qualification.
- An Assessor award or a willingness to achieve the qualification.
- An Internal Verification award or a willingness to achieve the qualification
