Help a Wonderful Young Girl Grow in Confidence and Independence

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable female Personal Assistant to support a vibrant young girl with Down syndrome. She is full of character, cheeky, determined, affectionate and fun-loving, with a big personality and an infectious enthusiasm for life. This rewarding role is all about helping her build independence, enjoy new experiences and have fun in a safe and supportive way.

Whether it's a trip to the swimming pool, a soft play session, attending Scouts or simply enjoying creative and messy play, you'll play an important part in helping her access activities she loves while developing her confidence and social skills. The ideal person will be patient, energetic and able to build a strong, trusting relationship.

You'll be confident supporting her with personal care, adapting to her individual needs and providing reassurance when required, particularly during transitions and activities away from home. As she is an active young girl who loves to be on the move, you'll need plenty of energy and a positive approach to encourage her independence while keeping her safe.

A driver is preferred to help her access community activities, and training can be provided for medication administration if needed. Most importantly, we're looking for someone kind, dependable and committed to making a positive difference in a young person's life.
