The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you'll play a key role in helping pupils complete their Key Stage 1 journey and prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2. You'll support children as they develop confidence, independence and strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and communication, helping them become successful and resilient learners. You'll deliver engaging and creative lessons, create a positive and inclusive classroom environment and support every pupil to reach their full academic and personal potential. Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
  • Can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupil progress
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Are committed to maintaining high expectations for all learners
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Bring enthusiasm, patience and a passion for education to the classroom
