Our client, a reputable independent family-run HGV commercial bodyshop, is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their team in Ashford, Middlesex. Duties:
- Conduct high-quality mechanical, electrical, and body repairs on HGV and commercial vehicles
- Diagnose vehicle faults using appropriate tools and techniques
- Carry out repairs efficiently, ensuring compliance with quality standards and company guidelines
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly for repairs and inspections
- Contribute to the team by sharing expertise and supporting colleagues as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MET Technician, Auto Electrician, or similar role within the commercial vehicle sector
- Strong knowledge of HGV systems and electrical diagnostics
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance or electrical work
