We are seeking outstanding full-time 2-1 Personal Assistants to join a well-established, friendly and mutually helpful PA team, who support a lively, happy young gentleman within his own home and community.
Our young man enjoys being out in the community, staying active, social interaction, activities, outings and a wide range of interests including swimming.
We are looking for people with energy, warmth, initiative and a lively personality who enjoy engagement , communication and being part of an active person centred support environment.
He is a wheelchair user, so support with this in the community is essential.
You should also have a calm, patient approach to implementing behaviour support plans.
Our man is not typical verbal but he loves to engage with talkative people and he has a fabulous sense of humour!
This is not a corporate care setting but is a professionally family-led service with a strong ethos of supporting our team, high standards of care, and a genuine focus on quality of life and supporting independence.
This role would suit PAs who wants more than a typical care job.
The support is highly person-centred, community-focused and delivered on a 2:1 basis within a settled, experienced and welcoming team.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV)
- Able to swim
- Comfortable supporting an active wheelchair user and pushing a wheelchair within the community
- Moving & Handling / Hoist Training
- Epilepsy Awareness Training
- Medication Administration Training
- Positive Behaviour Support / Challenging Behaviour Awareness
- A genuinely person-centred approach
- Reliability, professionalism and good communication skills
