Hourly Rate: £12.71 (over 21s)

Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours/week, Mon- Fri with 1 weekend in 4, plus functions

At Aramark UK, we’re proud to support the Armed Forces community — and now we’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant/Steward to join our team at Fort George. You’ll be a key part of our daily operations: serving food and beverages with a smile, keeping service areas spotless, supporting kitchen teams, and helping us deliver a top-quality experience for those who serve.

What you’ll do:

  • Operate tills and process payments accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas
  • Support stock rotation and replenishment
  • Always uphold health and safety standards
  • Keeping the kitchen and back-of-house spotless
  • Washing up and supporting the kitchen team
  • Helping with deliveries and storage
  • Managing waste disposal correctly.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous customer-facing, food service, or kitchen experience is desirable (training provided)
  • A team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
  • Customer-focused and a strong communicator
  • Eligible to work in the UK and have resided for 3+ years (security clearance required)
  • Reliable transport due to site location and limited public transport
