Transfer Doctors will act as a point of advice and information to organisations and clinicians seeking to undertake an inter-facility transfer, working in partnership with the remote duty consultant to triage patients against the regionally agreed scope.

  • Participation in clinical governance activities including audit, research, service evaluation, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Delivery of training for Transfer Practitioners and new Duty Consultants.
