The predicted salary is between 18900 - 23100 Β£ per year.
Based at Carmyllie and Arbirlot Primary Schools, you will work 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only. This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed. In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
This is a combined role to support pupil's learning across the schools and to carry out administrative tasks to support the effective delivery of learning. You will work the following hours in the following locations:
- Carmyllie Primary School: 2 hours per week as a School & Pupil Support Assistant, term time only (195 days) and 14 hours per week as a Senior Clerical Officer (Stand Alone), term time only (199 days)
- Arbirlot Primary School: 5 hours per week as a School & Pupil Support Assistant, term time only (195 days) and 11 hours per week as a Senior Clerical Officer (Stand Alone), term time only (199 days)
The working arrangements of the above hours will be discussed at interview. You will be responsible for the input of data in the SEEMiS database, maintaining and updating pupil records and processing school funds including the operation of the ParentPay system and reconciliation of the DSM and School Fund budget. You will also manage SMT diaries and process incoming and outgoing mail.
You will undertake reception duties and be a first point of contact, dealing with queries from parents/carers and utilising the Groupcall system. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
You will work directly with children and young people to support them with their learning targets, through developing positive and supportive relationships. You will assist with a range of duties including preparing classroom resources/activities to support learning, supervising and assisting children, according to their needs, throughout the school day.
