Position Overview
Our local authority client is looking for an Arborist or Tree Worker to join their existing busy team based in York. The role will involve assisting with tree maintenance throughout the York district. This is a full-time role, initially for three months, from Monday to Friday and 37 hours a week. An immediate start would be ideal.
Responsibilities
Working as part of the arboricultural team your duties will include all aspects of modern arboriculture, such as tree pruning and removals, tree planting and aftercare maintenance.
Qualifications
- A comprehensive set of NPTC’s (minimum of City & Guilds NPTC level 2)
- Experience of undertaking the full range of work including high quality large crown reductions and large dismantling work.
- A full UK driving licence
- A MEWP licence is desirable, but not essential.
