We are looking for a hard working handyperson to compliment our team in

Hampshire, they should be willing to get involved with day to day operations & be flexible in their approach.

Van supplied, Tools Supplied, Fuel Card Supplied, P Card Supplied, Full Corporate Work Wear Supplied, Full PPE Supplied, Tablet & Phone Supplied.

  • Key Accountabilities
  • Completion of PPM and reactive works activities in accordance with contract requirement
  • To provide support and expertise to assist the helpdesk team and operational team
  • To supervise works carried out by specialist sub contractors, reporting anomalies to the operational leads
  • Work with operational leads to identify opportunities to self deliver subcontracted maintenance activities
  • To ensure all statutory records are available and up to date
  • To be aware of and have a good working understanding and practical hands on input, in the control of legionella and associated required works
  • Other duties include, however are not limited to
  • Water hygiene checks- L8 checks.
  • Emergency lighting checks
  • Carry out daily, weekly and monthly PPM checks
  • Basic plumbing tasks
  • Painting and decorating
  • Building installation and repair ( carpet fitting, repairing walls, gutter clearance and drainage)
  • Clearing and tidying up common areas, plant rooms, store rooms
  • Putting together furniture and equipment (following manufactures guides)
  • Installing appliances and machines
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers (control of permits)
  • Deliveries of items (should be physically fit)
  • Follow company guide lines, processes, procedures and policies
  • Attend reactive break-downs
  • Complete PPM regimes
  • Monitor stock and start ordering procedure
  • Work independently and monitor own time management
  • Ensure records are up to date
  • Meter readings
  • Landscaping duties to keep areas neat and tidy
  • Desk moves and office relocations

Qualifications

  • GCSE's or equivalent - Grade C in English and Maths
