Staff Nurse - Chartridge Ward | Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is a major provider of integrated hospital and community services for people living in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area.
This includes Thame (Oxfordshire), Tring (Hertfordshire) and Leighton Buzzard (Bedfordshire).

This includes doctors, nurses, midwives, health visitors, therapists, and healthcare scientists.
Amersham Hospital is one of several Community Hospitals within the Trust.

You have the opportunity to join our fantastic and friendly Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) family as a Staff Nurse.
Chartridge Ward support it's 22 bedded unit that cares for patients who are medically well and are awaiting discharge plans to be completed before they can be safely discharged home.
This allows patients to be cared for in a safe and supportive environment whilst also continuing to work towards their independence.
The role of the Staff Nurse at Chartridge Ward is to support patients at the later stage of their inpatient experience.
You will need to have a good understanding of the discharge process as well as a thorough understanding of the implications of prolonged hospital stays and the impact this can have on patients and their relatives.
The Staff Nurse will not only support the patient and their families, but also the discharge team, with sharing of essential information to ensure discharges are efficient and effective.
