We invite you to join our committed podiatry team with the advantage of working within an Integrated Trust. We can offer a band 5 development role with support to work toward a band 6 role. You will be working in community clinics with the opportunity to develop your skills in complex care or hospital care.
You must have good general clinical skills and a willingness to progress your skills. The post holder is required to have clear communication and interpersonal skills as well as enthusiasm for contributing to this service.
Our podiatry service has placement rotations for staff within our specialist teams, such as Rheumatology, MSK and Diabetes / Wound clinics as well as regular sessions on the nail surgery rota. Our whole team meets for monthly staff meetings and clinical reasoning sessions. There will be a small home visiting caseload.
To assess, diagnose, plan and evaluate podiatric care to a variety of patient groups with specialised care needs.
To maintain high quality clinical skills and ensure own continuing professional development in line with national and local guidelines.
To deliver evidence-based podiatry interventions that will contribute to the maintenance of patient mobility and independence.
