Athira Clinic is looking for an experienced, confident and commercially minded Lead Aesthetic Practitioner to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our clinic.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the full client journey, from initial enquiry and consultation through to treatment, aftercare and repeat bookings.
As the main practitioner within the clinic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality treatments while also ensuring the clinic remains organised, professional, welcoming and commercially successful.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out aesthetic, advanced facial and skin treatments within your qualifications and experience
- Conduct detailed client consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and skincare
- Manage the full client journey from enquiry through to consultation, treatment and aftercare
- Manage the clinic diary, appointments, cancellations and rescheduling
- Answer telephone, Whats App, social media and online enquiries
- Welcome clients and manage reception duties
- Take payments and manage treatment packages
- Follow up clients after treatments
- Encourage repeat bookings and build long-term client relationships
- Recommend and sell appropriate skincare products and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate client records, consent forms and treatment documentation
- Take professional before-and-after photographs where appropriate
- Maintain excellent hygiene, infection-control and treatment-room standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure equipment is ready for use
- Monitor products, consumables and clinic stock
- Arrange stock orders when required
- Keep the clinic clean, organised and presentable throughout the day
- Open and close the clinic
- Help create social-media content showcasing treatments, results and promotions
- Respond to prospective clients and convert enquiries into bookings
- Promote available treatments and special offers
- Help develop new ideas to increase bookings and clinic revenue
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times
- Ensure relevant clinic procedures, treatment protocols and safety standards are followed
- Provide regular updates to the clinic owner regarding bookings, enquiries, revenue, stock and any operational issues

We are looking for someone who
- Has previous experience working within an aesthetics, skin, beauty or cosmetic clinic
- Holds relevant beauty, skin or aesthetic qualifications
- Has experience providing advanced facial and skin treatments
- Is confident carrying out consultations independently
- Has excellent customer-service and communication skills
- Is organised and able to manage their own diary and workload
- Is comfortable working independently without constant supervision
- Has strong sales and client-retention skills
- Understands how to convert enquiries into consultations and bookings
- Is confident recommending treatment plans and skincare products
- Is reliable, professional and presentable
- Is comfortable using booking systems, Whats App, email and social media
- Takes initiative and treats the clinic as if it were their own
- Is motivated to help grow the business and build a strong regular client base
Experience in areas such as advanced facials, skin rejuvenation, chemical peels, microneedling, laser/IPL, body treatments or other aesthetic procedures would be advantageous, depending on qualifications.

We need someone who can become the main face of Athira Clinic, deliver excellent treatments, build relationships with clients and confidently manage the clinic during working hours.
The successful candidate should be proactive, commercially aware and capable of identifying opportunities to increase bookings, introduce clients to additional suitable treatments and help grow the clinic.
