The Role
We're recruiting an Industrial Cleaner to support the overall presentation and cleanliness of a busy site in Aldridge, Walsall. This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be working both indoors and outdoors, helping to keep the site clean, tidy and well presented at all times.
Key Duties
- Operating a commercial ride-on floor sweeper to keep internal floors free from debris
- Wiping down machinery and work areas to maintain cleanliness standards
- Emptying bins and removing waste from site
- Sweeping paths and external areas
- Weeding and general outdoor tidying
- Supporting the overall "total presentation" of the site (keeping it looking its best)
What We're Looking For
- Previous industrial cleaning experience is beneficial
- Experience using a ride-on floor sweeper is strongly preferred
- Forklift licence would be an advantage, but not essential
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions as well as inside
- Able to work on own initiative, managing tasks independently and maintaining high standards without constant supervision
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work to a consistent standard
