Blackpool Adult Social Care is looking for committed, caring, and enthusiastic Social Workers to join our hospital and community-based teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a large, supportive service working closely with health and community partners to improve outcomes for the people of Blackpool.

About the Role

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary teamworking collaboratively with health and care professionals across Blackpool. Your work will support adults and carers to remain safe, well, and as independent as possible within their own homes and communities.

This is a varied and rewarding role, involving:

  • Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005-compliant assessments
  • Safeguarding practice
  • Active participation in multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Working alongside hospital and community health colleagues

We currently have 1 full-time, permanent vacancy in the following team:

  • Neighbourhood Social Work Team
