The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information
service to the Neurodevelopmental Team.
Provide a high-quality administration service to ensure the smooth operation of the NDP. Flexibly workwithintheadministrationteamtodeliverawiderangeofservicestoclinicians, team leaders, and clinical managers as appropriate.
Offerahigh-qualitycustomercarefirstpointofcontactserviceviatelephone,email, written correspondence, and face-to-face interactions. This may include delivering reception, patient admissions, and/or telephone helpline services, as well as supporting clinicians in coordinating their clinical workload.
Main duties of the job:
Assist in providing an effective administrative service across the Neurodevelopmental Pathway (NDP) Service in the buildingtosupporttheclinicalfunctionsoftheTrust.Collaboratewithcolleagues, service users, and stakeholders to offer efficient clerical support.
Contribute to and influence the development of administration
services by collaboratingwithcolleaguesandmanagementtoforma
clearandcoherentvision.
Competentlyusevariouscomputersystemsformaintainingdepartmental/patient records, data, and statistics required by clinical services.
Continuouslyreviewandevaluateadministrativesystems,procedures,and associated policies to facilitate improvements and advancements.
Adhere to all Trust policies and procedures in fulfilling roles. Support the organisation'svisionofexcellenceinallactivitiesbypromotingequalopportunities, fairness, equity, and inclusion through best practices.
You will be joining a supportive and developing Neurodevelopmental Pathway team committed to delivering high-quality, child and family-centred care. The team works collaboratively with clinicians, managers, administrative colleagues and wider partner services to ensure children, young people and families receive timely, coordinated and compassionate support. This is a busy and evolving service where excellent communication, organisation and a flexible approach are essential. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the pathway and will be welcomed as a valued member of a friendly, committed and forward-thinking team.
