Personal Assistant to support a young woman in the HU9 area 10 hours a week to cover maternity leave.
A friendly fun-loving PA is needed to provide companionship and to support a young woman in her 20s with Autism and learning disabilities. She is a fun loving, chatty person, who loves to go shopping. She does have a good sense of humour and a lot of energy. She does not like crowded places or loud noises and needs lots of guidance as she has little sense of danger.
The appointed PA would be responsible to support this young woman in the community and accessing social and leisure opportunities. The PA must be kind, caring, supportive and be able to build a good relationship. The PA needs to be agile, enthusiastic and able to support this young lady to maximize her independence.
Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer.
