Completely Care is looking for experienced and compassionate Domiciliary Care Workers to join our agency team, supporting adults in their own homes throughout Abergavenny and the surrounding areas.
Drivers are essential for this role, as you will travel between clients’ homes throughout your shift.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing personal care and practical support to adults in their own homes.
- Assisting with everyday tasks to promote independence and improve quality of life.
- Supporting with mobility, moving and handling, and the safe use of equipment such as hoists when required.
- Supporting with medication where trained and authorised.
- Offering companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
- Following personalised care plans and maintaining accurate records.
- Travelling between client visits using your own vehicle.
- What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 months’ UK care or support experience.
- Experience within domiciliary care, community care, residential care, supported living, or a similar environment.
- Knowledge and experience of moving and handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work a range of agency shifts.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one).
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle and valid business insurance (essential).
- Social Care Wales (SCW) registration where required.
