We are seeking 2 dedicated and energetic personal assistants for my energetic, autistic & non verbal little boy to work for 6 hours a week, together, during the holidays.

Family are flexible with days Monday-Friday and hours 8am-5pm on these days.

The role involves providing close supervision, engaging in play-based activities, and ensuring a safe, structured environment at all times.

Individual has no awareness of danger.

He requires constant supervision, as he is prone to eloping and will run if given the opportunity.

The successful candidate must remain attentive and proactive in anticipating and preventing unsafe situations.

Key responsibilities include supporting outdoor and physical activities such as swimming, park visits, trampoline play, and community outings.

Individual does not enjoy busy play centres or social play with other children.

Individual may sometimes drop to the floor when overwhelmed, he may also elope (run away).

The ideal candidate will be patient, physically active, calm under pressure, and confident managing dysregulation with consistency and care.

Reliability, strong safeguarding awareness, and a warm, engaging approach are essential qualities for this role.
