Your chance to coordinate and develop a significant sector-wide response, bringing together twelve founding UK universities and sector partners in support of Palestinian higher education.
The University of Edinburgh is host to the UK Consortium for Palestine Higher Education (UK-Pal), a collaboration between UK member universities and Palestinian higher education institutions.
We are seeking an experienced, adaptable, organised individual to coordinate and develop UK-Pal on behalf of its members, as the UK-Pal Consortium Manager.
Attributes for the role
You will have experience of working in higher education, experience of stakeholder engagement and relationship management across multiple organisations at senior level.
You will have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage a varied workload independently, adapting to changing requirements in a developing environment.
Your experience is essential for this role along with proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
The success and effectiveness of this role hinges on your understanding of equitable partnership principles and non-extractive models of international collaboration.
This role provides you with an opportunity to use your initiative to identify gaps, draw on multiple sources and make recommendations to shape how the Consortium operates in practice.
Your discretion and judgement are required in all external communications and engagement.
