Your mission is to join our growing engineering team as a skilled fire alarm and extinguisher engineer with more than 3 years of experience.
Job Description:
- To undertake routine servicing, testing, inspection and basic maintenance of extinguishers and the maintenance of fire detection/alarm systems in accordance with BS5306, BS5839 and BRE/LPS1014 and any other relevant British Standard.
- To carry out routine servicing, testing and inspection works on emergency lighting.
- Provide a full report on all work undertaken using electronic reporting systems.
- Engage with clients to ensure their training and competence in the operation of all systems and products provided by Allsaved.
- Identify and discuss with the client any gaps in their needs for Allsaved products and services.
- Market the company products and services to new business while working in external locations.
- Experience in maintaining and programming the following fire alarm systems is essential: Advanced Electronics, Kentec, Morley, Notifier (Desirable - training can be provided).
Due to the nature of our contracts covering a large geographical area, candidates may be expected to work away from home from time to time. A working away allowance is provided. Fire suppression experience is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications Required:
- FIA Fire Alarm and Detection System Units
- ECS Card
- Any manufacturer related training
- Full UK Driving License
- BAFE - Desirable but full training can be provided
Schedule: Monday to Friday. Out of hours may be required from time to time.
