This role is essential in ensuring our sites, teams, and contractors meet the highest health, safety, and quality standards while supporting our commitment to continual improvement and ethical, long-term relationships with our clients.
The specific accountabilities of this flexible role may alter from time to time to meet the needs of the business or client. Typical duties will include:
- Site Visits, Audits and Producing/Reviewing RAMS
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with company policies, project specifications, and legal requirements.
- Identify non-conformities and produce clear, actionable audit reports.
- Liaise with site teams and contractors to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Develop, review, and update RAMS in line with project requirements.
- Ensure RAMS accurately reflect the scope of work and are communicated clearly.
- Collaborate with management, supervisors, and HSE teams to embed a strong safety culture.
- Provide guidance on safe work practices and assist in incident investigations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Training Coordination and Administration
- Book and schedule external training courses.
- Arrange and manage training agreements, maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate specific training requirements (e.g., UKPN and NG ATS Courses), issuing IDs and keys.
- Fleet and Vehicle Management
- Ensure vehicles are up-to-date with MOTs, servicing, and maintenance.
- Monitor staff completion of daily/weekly vehicle inspections.
- Manage the Vehicle system, including reports and usage analysis.
- Conduct audits in Simpro to verify records.
- Maintain control and organisation of vehicle keys.
