Hours: 32.5 hours per week. Mon - Fri - 7.00 - 10.00 am / 3 - 6.30 pm.

We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and versatile School Premises Officer / Caretaker to join our team. In this essential role, you will be the custodian of our school—ensuring our buildings and grounds remain safe, warm, clean, and welcoming for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You do not need to have worked in a special school before, but you must share our absolute commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of our pupils.
  • Is handy, practical, and comfortable undertaking minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Has a strong eye for detail regarding health and safety, COSHH, and site security.
  • Is reliable, flexible, and enjoys being part of a warm, supportive school community.
  • Is flexible and supportive of our community ethos.
