At AllSaints we are in the business of feelings - making our customers feel cool and confident. If, like us, you believe in the power of a great outfit, we'd love to talk to you. We're a global brand made up of a very diverse mix of talented people in a huge variety of roles. Our products are designed in house and made by a small number of suppliers and artisans around the world to sustainable standards. We are a brand embarking on a very exciting plan and we are seeking new members of the team who want to contribute to this.
THE ROLE
As the Data Product & Insight Partner, you will be the strategic bridge between our Insights team and the Technology & Transformation Data project team. This is a hybrid role, blending the structured rigour of a Business Analyst with the strategic vision of a Product Owner. You aren't just documenting requirements; you are shaping demand, challenging existing thinking, and expanding the business's ambition for what data can achieve. Reporting into the Global Head of Transformation, you will work in lockstep with the Head of Insights to ensure our data roadmap isn't just a list of technical tasks, but a high‐value engine driving growth and operational excellence across AllSaints.
ABOUT THE TEAM
You will be a pivotal figure in Project Nova, our technology‐powered transformation program. While you sit within the Transformation team, your daily reality is cross‐functional. You will partner with the Head of Insights to align business strategy with technical execution, working alongside Project Managers, Architects, and Engineering partners to deliver a modern, self‐serve data ecosystem. You are the 'translator' who ensures that Finance, Merchandising, Ecommerce, and Retail teams have the insights they need to succeed.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Strategic Roadmapping & Product Ownership: Shape the Data Roadmap: Partner directly with the Head of Insights to define and maintain the data backlog, ensuring technical delivery aligns with commercial priorities.
- Demand Shaping: Proactively go out into the business to identify new data use cases, helping departments understand "the art of the possible".
- KPI Alignment: Drive cross‐functional alignment on metric definitions to ensure a "single version of the truth" across the global brand.
- Data Design & Technical Translation: Semantic Layer Definition: Help shape the semantic layer of our data platform, ensuring that complex data structures are translated into intuitive, business‐friendly formats.
- Requirements Evolution: Translate high‐level business ambitions into detailed user stories and actionable technical specifications for the Data & Analytics team.
- Metric Governance: Influence how we define, calculate, and govern data to ensure integrity and trust in our reporting.
- Supporting Adoption & Change: Empowering teams to self‐serve data: Working in partnership with the Change Management team to drive the adoption of self‐serve analytics tools (e.g. Looker) across business functions, moving the culture from 'requesting reports' to 'extracting insights'.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the key interface between the Insights team and Business teams, and the Data Project and Engineering team.
- UAT & Validation: Oversee User Acceptance Testing to ensure that deliverables satisfy the business requirements and problems they were designed for.
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- Proven experience acting as a PO/BA bridge, specifically within a Data, Analytics, or BI environment. You know how to elicit, analyse, and document technical data requirements, prioritise these within a backlog and map business processes that underpin them.
- Deep understanding of a modern data stack (preferably BigQuery, Looker, ETL/ELT pipelines). You should be comfortable discussing data schemas and lineage.
- Experience in a fast‐paced Retail or Wholesale environment, understanding the specific data needs of Finance, Merchandising, Retail, Ecommerce and Wholesale.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, acting as a trusted partner to business teams, who can comfortably explain complex data concepts to stakeholders and business logic to technical developers.
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to challenge existing reporting legacy to ensure new solutions provide actionable insights rather than migrating poor quality data or process, to a new system.
- Experience in defining business logic and metrics, you understand how a raw data point becomes a meaningful KPI to our business areas.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, using Jira/Confluence to keep delivery moving at pace and ensuring the right level of governance.
ABOUT THE LOCATION
Based in our East London Studios in vibrant Shoreditch with perks and benefits offered from local businesses including discounts on food, shopping and health & beauty. Studio Location. Approximately a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and a 5 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street.
