THE ROLE As a Junior Front End Developer, you will play a key role in the development and optimisation of our website content pages. You’ll work closely with designers, content teams and UX to build engaging pages and run A/B tests that drive conversion and elevate the customer experience Develop responsive and visually compelling content pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Collaborate with the Digital Design, Digital Experience and Content teams to implement new page designs, seasonal campaigns, and promotional content Code and launch A/B and multivariate tests using tools such as Optimizely. Working closely with our CRO team to build your testing backlog Assist in maintaining front-end consistency across the website and ensure brand guidelines are met Identify and resolve front-end bugs and performance issues Stay current on front-end best practices and industry trends, particularly in e-commerce and fashion WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED? Experience in ecommerce, preferably in a retail or B2C environment Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Familiarity with responsive design principles Understanding of web accessibility principles and standards Basic knowledge of SEO fundamentals Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Knowledge of an ecommerce platform - ideally Salesforce Commerce Cloud Experience using product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence & Trello A team player with a flexible attitude and a desire to make a difference Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications Familiarity with Agile development methodologies ABOUT THE LOCATION Based in our East London Studios in vibrant Shoreditch with perks and benefits offered from local businesses including discounts on food, shopping and health & beauty. Studio Location. Approximately a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and a 5 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street.
