The legal department at AllSaints is a fast‑paced, fun and creative environment. The team provides legal, company secretarial and risk management support and expertise across all areas of AllSaints globally. This role is for a highly motivated, commercially astute lawyer who will thrive in a supportive, challenging environment.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a broad range of domestic and international commercial agreements, with a particular focus on digital – ecommerce, software, SaaS, marketing and data protection.
- Advising on other general commercial matters such as supply chain issues, competition law and product compliance.
- Advising on global data protection and GDPR related matters (including, where relevant, working with our external DPO team and law firms).
- Supporting our ESG and Product Compliance teams on new and exciting initiatives.
- Assisting in the preparation and updating of contract templates, company policies and processes.
- Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, becoming their trusted advisor and delivering pragmatic, commercial advice, sometimes at short notice.
- Proactively reviewing risk exposure and training needs and being ready to update the business and contribute to the development of colleagues.
- Assisting with general compliance and good governance in all that you do.
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- Solicitor qualified to practise in England and Wales with around 3-4 years PQE (indicative only).
- Experience in a top tier law firm and/or excellent in‑house team in the fashion / retail sector.
- Broad commercial experience relevant to AllSaints’ business and the wide range of work covered by the legal team.
- Strong, demonstrable legal drafting and negotiating skills.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to translate complex legal issues into concise, clear and user‑friendly advice and documents.
OTHER ABILITIES
- Work at pace, with minimal supervision, keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills to manage deadlines and varied workload.
- Build effective professional relationships across the business.
- Work collaboratively in a small but dynamic team and provide clear, strategic legal advice, balancing pragmatism with risk assessment to drive informed business decisions.
