THE ROLE
Working closely with the AR Manager and two other account receivable assistants, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day Accounts Receivable function of the Finance Department. This is a fantastic time to join a growing, dedicated and hardworking team.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Manage customer accounts across our Wholesale, Franchise & Concession business
- Accurate and timely billing of sale invoices in the accounting system
- Raising of sale invoices and credit notes in the accounting system
- Credit control of all customer accounts in line with Company policy and process
- Ensure the customer ledgers are accurate, fully allocated and any old or outstanding items are reported to the AR Manager
- Dealing with invoicing queries in an effective and timely manner
- Debtor reporting and analysis
- Creating accounts for new customers and ensuring credit limits are applied
- Ensuring good relations and communications with internal departments and external customers at all times
- Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Line Manager, for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- Previous experience in a similar role or working in a finance department
- Previous Credit control experience
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify errors
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good excel and data entry skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, commercially focused environment and able to adapt to change quickly
- Disciplined approach to production and documentation of work
