THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate and driven content creator & editor to join our social media team. As a content creator and editor at AllSaints, you will know your way around camera(s), editing tools and shooting locations. Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, this hands‑on role will contribute to shaping our social content strategy and brand identity. You will have the opportunity to take part in the social media content production process, from coming up with ideas with the team to producing, editing, and releasing regular content. You will be dynamic in your storytelling approach and know how to engage a social media audience via video and imagery. You’ll be able to confidently follow a brief, meet deadlines, advise and lead on the creative process with insightful recommendations and industry updates. It is imperative you understand how to balance a consistent brand identity with emerging trends and commercial needs.
Capturing multiple types of video and photo for the social media team including but not limited to:
- Behind the scenes of brand shoots
- Still life product shoots
- Fittings
- Interviews
- Events
- Store activations
Follow briefs from the social media team with guidance from the brand creative team, primarily for Instagram. Own the post‑production process of what is captured; you will create the final edit based on the brands’ established look and feel (this could include graphic design and audio). Organise assets to easily share within the business on Google drive. Work with senior social media manager and art director on our Instagram visual identity. Recommend and manage equipment such as cameras, mics, rigs and lighting required for each project detail.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Advanced knowledge of using different camera equipment and editing software
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Final Cut, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects
- You will be well versed and highly skilled in the art of both short‑form video and image making; storytelling, set production, style of shoot, camera work and angles, audio, editing and overall aesthetics
- Experience working confidently with an array of talent; from up and comers to established artists
- You consider yourself to be a confident creative with the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, you are not afraid to take initiative particularly on set with other creatives
- You understand fashion brand nuance and the balance between creative vs. commercial needs
- Strong ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask to manage several projects simultaneously
- You are self‑aware and can read a room, you easily make people feel comfortable in front of the camera
