We're a global brand made up of a very diverse mix of talented people in a huge variety of roles. Our products are designed in house and made by a small number of suppliers and artisans around the world to sustainable standards. We are a brand embarking on a very exciting plan and we are seeking new members of the team who want to contribute to this.

The role involves joining our Design team as a Senior Leather Designer. We are looking for an experienced outerwear or leather designer who can drive the vision for our leather garments across Menswear & Womenswear. Someone who is meticulous in their design process with strong attention to detail and an in depth approach to research and design development. Leather materials experience is not essential, but a strong understanding of outerwear pieces, and a keen understanding of the end use of leather garments is a must.

You will be responsible for research, design development, sketching and tech packing. You must be confident in garment fit and construction, and you will work closely with our product development & garment tech teams to ensure our ideas are realised to production standards. You should be obsessed with all things leather and enjoy working as part of a collaborative and creative team. Your attention to detail will be second to none and you will thrive working in a fast paced, ever evolving environment.

About the team: The Design department is the epicentre of our DNA and influences every part of our brand. We play a key role in setting the tone and direction of the brand visually, commercially and ensure that our customers receive the product they desire. In this role you will work closely with our creative leads for Menswear & Womenswear, and the wider Leather team.

What you’ll be doing (key responsibilities):

  • Undertake extensive garment research with a keen eye for vintage and contemporary shape references.
  • Create tech packs for all styles with detailed specs & detail diagrams.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Development & garment tech to see initial proto samples through production.
  • Presenting to creative leads and Chief Creative in design review meetings.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers.

What we’re looking for (skills & qualifications):

  • A strong background working from conception through to production at an established Designer level in outerwear or leather.
  • A degree in Fashion Design is preferable.
  • A natural at building relationships internally and externally at all levels.
  • Collaborative in your approach when working in a team.
  • Proven experience of working with a technical team to fit all samples through to production.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit always striving to do better.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident drawing by hand, but also proficient with illustrator & photoshop.

Studio Location: Approximately a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and a 5 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street.
