THE ROLE

The Global Head of Retail Operations & Profit Protection champions our retail network worldwide, ensuring all store communications, systems, and operational procedures function with precision, agility, and profitability. Serving as a strategic partner to the global retail leadership team, this position oversees standard operating procedures, global order fulfillment, and compliance across all regions. Reporting directly to the Global Retail Director you will lead, manage, and motivate the global retail operations and profit protection functions. You will partner with cross-functional internal departments globally to empower our stores to succeed while safeguarding brand assets, mitigating risk, and maximizing profitability.

ABOUT THE TEAM

This position is based in our East London studios. The role requires occasional weekend coverage and regular physical presence in retail stores. We believe that we lead from our stores - keeping in touch with our operational processes and being the expert of how we do what we do to bring excellent experiences to our colleagues and customers.

Global Retail Operations & Trade

  • Drive Global Operational Excellence: Identify, scope, and roll out improvements to store operations, systems, and omni-channel fulfillment processes across all international territories.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work collaboratively with global brand partners, aligning retail activity with key trade timings to ensure smooth, execution-ready store implementation.
  • Commercial Leadership: Actively participate in trade meetings, communicating operational updates, conveying accurate performance statistics, and aligning operational strategy with Peak trading targets.
  • Global Communications Strategy: Own the end-to-end weekly, monthly, and quarterly communication strategy for global stores to streamline store manager workload.
  • Store & Field Presence: Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operational execution, gather field feedback, and continuously elevate the customer experience.

Profit Protection & Governance

  • Profit Protection Strategy: Formulate and execute a comprehensive global Profit Protection and loss prevention strategy to minimize shrinkage, stock loss, and operational waste across all stores.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Partner with Health & Safety, Governance, and Maintenance teams to establish global compliance protocols, track store audit performance, and implement corrective actions.
  • Asset & Margin Defense: Champion brand protection by developing strict audit framework controls, securing physical assets, and safeguarding stock and profitability margins.
  • Property & Operations Expansion: Partner with Finance, Property, and Store Design to establish feasibility metrics, operational readiness, and profit protection setups for store openings, remodels, and closures globally.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop the Global Retail Operations and Profit Protection teams, setting clear KPIs, challenging performance, and instilling a high-accountability culture.
  • Store Support & Training: Collaborate with People & Culture to design and update store operational documentation, profit protection guidelines, and training materials worldwide.

  • Commercial & Strategic Acumen: Strong business acumen with expertise in utilizing reporting technologies to drive operational effectiveness, margin integrity, and bottom-line growth.
