Role overview
We are looking for a Fashion Design Assistant to support the Senior Designer across Men’s Wear (MW) and Women’s Wear (WW) Jersey & Sweats collections. This role is fast-paced and detail-focused, ideal for someone highly organised with strong technical and digital skills. While the focus is on execution and delivery, the right candidate will also bring a genuine interest in Jersey & Sweats and be able to contribute creative input when needed.
What will I be doing?
- Illustration & CAD: Create and update accurate technical flats in Adobe Illustrator
- Photoshop Colour-ups: Confidently create and update colour-ups in Photoshop for development and presentation decks
- Sample & Proto Reviews: Steam, organise, and prepare samples; take detailed notes during reviews and fittings
- Research & Development: Support Jersey & Sweats trend, fabric, and wash research; compile references and contribute creative ideas to presentations
- Admin & Deck Support: Maintain line sheets, presentations, and decks accurately and on time
- Cross-team Coordination: Liaise with PD, Production, Garment Tech, and Buying to ensure deadlines and developments stay on track
- General Studio Support: Provide day-to-day assistance to the Senior Designer to keep projects moving efficiently
What skills do I need?
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (essential for CADs)
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop (essential for colour-ups and visualisation)
- Strong interest in Jersey & Sweats design, fabrics, washes, and details, with the ability to add creative input when appropriate
- Basics in Microsoft office (Excel) beneficial (but not essential)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks, adapt quickly, and meet deadlines
- Positive, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work
