The Role

We are looking for someone who understands scaffolding commercially and technically, enjoys working with customers and is motivated by winning work and helping projects succeed. You will be involved from the earliest stages of an opportunity, meeting customers, developing solutions, preparing quotations and helping secure projects. Once projects are won, you will remain closely involved, ensuring a smooth handover to our operational teams and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout. The role offers a high level of autonomy and responsibility, making it ideal for an experienced scaffolding professional looking to take ownership of their projects, develop new business opportunities and make a visible impact within a growing company. For the right person, there is genuine opportunity to shape the role and contribute to the future direction of the business.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and success of the business.
  • A varied and rewarding position combining commercial, technical and customer‑facing responsibilities.
  • Competitive salary package.
  • Company vehicle.
  • Long‑term career progression opportunities.
  • The chance to work closely with leading contractors and developers across the region.
  • A supportive, approachable management team that values initiative and ideas.
  • The opportunity to make a genuine impact rather than being a small part of a large organisation.
  • A growing pipeline of exciting projects across Oxford and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Previous experience within the scaffolding industry in a surveying, estimating, contracts, project management or commercial role.
  • A strong understanding of scaffolding design principles, temporary works and access requirements across a range of construction projects.
  • Experience preparing quotations, pricing work and developing commercially viable scaffolding solutions.
  • The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
  • Experience working directly with main contractors, developers, housing providers and industrial clients.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Good commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities, manage project costs and contribute to business growth.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to represent the business professionally at all levels.
