We are currently seeking either a Sales Manager or Sales Consultant for a well-established and progressive residential building company to join an experienced team servicing the Waikato area. This role will be working for a privately owned and operating company that has been in business for almost two decades. They control the entire build process from owning land to the teams for the design and build.
This role could be filled by a person with a strong residential building background as a builder or in construction support and administration, who wants to then step into a sales consultant role. It could also be filled by a current residential new build sales consultant who is looking to step into a role as a sales manager.
The role comes with a strong incentive package including a base salary and uncapped commissions.
Role- Leading the client through a proven new house build process from first inquiry to final handover.
- Listening to client needs and aspirations, advising, and walking them through the process of buying a house and land package or designing their own bespoke new home.
- Keep all advertising of house and land packages up to date - through Trademe, websites, window advertising & flyers, Showhomes and open homes.
- Provide and update specifications and contracts as required.
- Work alongside our Managing Director and Building team to ensure your clients’ expectations are met.
- Successfully close deals while still maintaining the required profit margins set by the MD, Finance Manager and other stakeholders.
- Experience in the new build residential construction industry as a sales consultant or builder, sales support or administration.
- Experience with sales or marketing, or equivalent demonstrable industry experience.
- Demonstrated track record in successful business development, sales and customer relations.
- Experience in maintaining thorough and accurate client and sales records.
- Ability to work the hours needed for a sales role, including after hours and weekends.
