AllPro Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Electrician to join a team delivering planned and responsive maintenance works across social housing properties throughout the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for consistent, long-term work on established contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work within occupied and void social housing properties
- Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
- Replacing sockets, switches, lighting, consumer units and other electrical components
- Installing and upgrading electrical circuits where required
- Carrying out testing and inspection work in line with current regulations
- Completing minor electrical works associated with kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
- Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety requirements
- Completing job sheets and relevant certification accurately
- Delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service to tenants
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
- Proven experience working within domestic or social housing environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own van and tools are essential
