Within our newly expanded state-of-the-art workshop facilities as Trailer Technician, you will be integral to the continued success of the After Sales Service Department. You will proactively deliver high quality repair and maintenance projects ensuring our customer experience requirements are of the highest standard.

Your day-to-day duties as our Trailer Technician include:

  • Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance on HGV Trailers.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in braking systems, suspension, electrical wiring and chassis components.
  • Replace and repair worn or damaged components such as wheels, axles and landing legs.
  • Conduct pre-MOT and roadworthiness inspections.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with DVLA standards and regulations.
  • Complete inspection reports and necessary documentation.
  • Work efficiently to ensure vehicles are repaired within agreed timeframes.
  • Follow health and safety procedures including wearing the appropriate PPE and ensuring you have carried out the relevant training for all manual handling equipment and use of tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

What you will need:

  • Proven experience as a HGV Trailer Technician.
  • Excellent knowledge of vehicle legal standards and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostics and repair techniques.
