Role Overview
As UAT Lead at AllPoints Fibre Network (APFN), you will own and lead the end‑to‑end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) function across all APFN delivery channels, including the Change & Delivery Team and the Innovation Team. You will define UAT strategy, establish governance in line with the team’s existing approach, plan and coordinate testing activity, and assure the quality and readiness of solutions prior to release. You will act as the point of accountability for UAT, driving collaboration between business stakeholders, system owners, operational teams, and delivery squads to ensure solutions meet business objectives, operational requirements, and regulatory expectations. You will empower, guide, and challenge testers, ensuring clear acceptance criteria, test coverage, and disciplined execution. In addition, you will actively oversee test execution, manage and prioritise defects in coordination with the E2E Test team, validate fixes, and provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations on release readiness. Where required, you will hands‑on execute testing activities, while maintaining a strong leadership focus on risk management, continuous improvement, and stakeholder confidence.
