Role Overview

We are on the lookout for an Account Manager to join our growing team. The Account Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring to onboard & manage a portfolio of Business & Consumer ISP’s, building relationships across their organisation, whilst driving & supporting their teams to maximise our joint success.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Onboarding
  • Taking ownership of your business development activities by identifying, qualifying and engaging with prospects that are aligned to APFN’s target customer persona’s.
  • Maintaining a ‘Target Account’ prospect list within our CRM, including engagement cadence and profile.
  • Obtaining a signed master services agreement and a commercial commitment from each account you onboard.
  • Working with our Operational teams to professionally onboard ISP’s and provide them with the enablement tools & training to promote our products & services.
  • Account Management
    • Working alongside our Product & Propositions team to develop and support campaigns with your accounts that promote APFN services into their existing and prospective customers.
    • Holding regular business reviews with your customer accounts to track performance against campaigns, managing the forecast & pipeline of opportunities, and reviewing their active provisioning WIP, ensuring they are fully supported across our business.
    • Taking ownership of margin, revenue & volume targets across your portfolio.
    • Building a knowledge of our infrastructure footprint, as well as the competitive landscape within it.
    • Informing your accounts of new products, promotions & services, including our future build locations & RFC premises.
    • Ensuring all account activity & opportunities are recorded in our CRM, regularly updated and easily reportable.
    • Providing quarterly forecasts of expected Ethernet & FTTP sales from your accounts.
    • Initiating & managing an account development plan, which will become the blueprint to success for working with customers.
    • Attending both APFN & industry events in and out of normal working hours when appropriate.
    • Taking responsibility for your personal development and product knowledge.
    • Collaborating effectively with other departments to ensure customers receive an excellent level of service, whilst continuing to develop our processes and strategy.

    What we’re looking for

    Your skills

    • Experience in Account Management.
    • Proven ability in achieving & exceeding Sales targets.
    • Strong capability to build and develop relationships with both key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Clear and confident communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience with forecasting revenues & volumes.
    • Experience with account development planning.
    • Demonstrated commitment to self-motivation.
    • Skill in influencing and engaging across all levels of an organisation.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and inclusively both verbally and in writing.

    Desirable

    • Channel Sales experience.
    • Channel Telecoms industry knowledge.
