The opportunity involves being part of the Engineering Department and reporting to the Chief Engineer. You will be tasked with ensuring the ongoing availability of the plant, machinery, and equipment, as well as fulfilling the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules.
You will be a time-served engineer with an electrical bias and will be expected to work on both electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic breakdowns and repairs. A background within a manufacturing environment would be preferable.
- 80/20 split mechanical/electrical
- Electrical equipment mostly Siemens, Servo Drives, Servo Motors, AC/DC Units
You will be required to work as part of a team and on your own, possessing good communication skills. Overtime will be required to cover holidays and absence within the department and at weekends for preventative maintenance tasks.
Hours of work average 39 hours and 40 minutes per week over a three-shift continuous rotation:
- Night Shift: 10pm to 6am Sunday Night to Thursday Night
- Early Shift: 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday
- Back Shift: 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 7pm on Friday
