The opportunity involves ensuring the ongoing availability of the plant, machinery and equipment while fulfilling the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules. You will be a time-served engineer with an electrical bias, expected to work on both electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns and repairs. A background within a manufacturing environment would be preferable.
Key responsibilities include:
- 80/20 split mechanical/electrical
- Working with electrical equipment mostly Siemens, Servo Drives, Servo Motors, AC/DC Units
- Working as part of a team and independently
- Possessing good communication skills
- Overtime required to cover holidays and absence within the department and at weekends for preventative maintenance tasks
Hours of work average 39 hours and 40 minutes per week over a three-shift continuous rotation:
- Night Shift: 10pm to 6am Sunday Night to Thursday Night
- Early Shift: 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday
- Back Shift: 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 7pm on Friday
