We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our global client on a perm basis
This position will report the Mechanical Supervisor and Shift Manager.Repair of mechanical breakdowns throughout the plant Carry out preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment as required Identify and report any signs of equipment failureEnsure all documentation is kept up to date Install and commission equipment and services as requestedand maintain good engineering and housekeeping procedures in all work areasWork carried out in accordance with permit to work code of practiceAssist with other engineering work when and where required as directed by Mechanical supervisor Essential Requirements Minimum City & Guilds/ONC level in a mechanical disciplineFull xkybehq 4-year apprenticeship completed Industrial maintenance experience preferredA strong health and safety awareness and the ability to work unsupervised
We would prefer someone from a Production or Manufacturing background who has worked on Mechanical Industrial equipment
